However, it is possible to earn extra lives much more frequently. Instead of playing straight through the levels, quit the game after each level and enter your password to begin on the next stage. This means that your score will be reset to 0 when you begin the stage. If you can earn at least 10,000 points in a level, you will get an extra life for each level you play.
